Here's a short but fascinating video that demonstrates the brains learning process.
When I first started to watch it, I though it was just another funny YouTube video. But it didn't take long to amaze me and I got to thinking about how we learn as it relates to golf.
As it relates to golf, there really isn't an "ahHA" moment because performing a successful swing every time is never going to happen. I think there's an initial "Ohhhh" moment when you suddenly learn an exciting & successful facet of your swing - the "ahHA" is the weeks, months and years of practicing & refining that "ohhhh" moment.
Because let's face it, if riding a bike was like golf then you would fall/crash every 10 feet. Sometimes completely wiping out and sometimes just slipping a bit off your seat. The golf equivalents would be topping your drive and pulling your 7 iron 10 feet of the flag.
These are just my thoughts and are in no way facts. Just using my years of competing and teaching the game to share my thoughts.
