Putt For DoughPRE-SHOT *Evaluate the break and more importantly the SPEED of the putt. - once you pick your aim, focus only on the speed you want to stroke the putt -Downhill putts are not only are quicker, but they break more -Uphill putts are slower and break less *Briefly take notice of the grain - the ball travels faster when the grass is shinny or a lighter color - the ball travels slower when the grass is dull or darker color SET-UP *Be comfortable and balanced *Set your eyes over the ball *Ball position is wherever your weight is set - if your weight favors your left foot - set the ball more toward that foot *Lower body remains still but not stiff EXECUTION *Once you pick your aim, focus only on the speed you want to stroke the putt *Lower body remains still but not stiff *DO keep your head down.
